Corrupt New Jersey Prosecutors and Bribed Judges Let Rapists Slide!

July 24, 2008 at 1:10 P.M. My security system warns me, in red type, that "I am not secure!" New risks to my system cannot be removed. They will have to be removed "manually." However, all efforts to do so are unsuccessful. I will try to re-boot or re-start my computer.

July 24, 2008 at 10:27 A.M. I experienced many difficulties accessing my essays at Critique. I am blocking:

July 21, 2008 at 10:33 P.M. I was just obstructed in efforts to access Critique. This usually means that new "errors" have been inserted in my essays. I will struggle to make all necessary corrections and begin work on "George E. Norcross, III and New Jersey Law," then "Fun and Games in Union City, New Jersey. " What is "cb3"?

July 21, 2008 at 9:01 A.M. Two "anonymous" calls so far, some obstructions this morning. It is too soon to tell how much damage has been done to essays at Critique or at these blogs. Image posting is still blocked.

July 20, 2008 at 1:24 P.M. After what seems like hours, once again, I am unable to access my MSN group, where essays have probably been vandalized and altered overnight. I cannot say when I will be able to return to my site in order to continue writing. Shockingly, New Jersey government computers have been used, it seems, to pursue censorship policies and criminal violations of civil rights to the indifference of the authorities in that jurisdiction. I will continue to struggle to reach my group and write again. (See "Law and Ethics in the Soprano State" and "New Jersey's 'Ethical' Legal System.")

July 20, 2008 at 9:56 P.M. new "errors" were inserted in several essays. I will try to make the same corrections again.

"No Charges For 7 Troopers In Rape Inquiry," in The New York Times, July 18, 2008, at p. B8.
Bill Sanderson & Brigitte Williams-James, "Suicide Tie-In to 'Sex' Dormmates," in The New York Post, July 12, 2008, at p. 7.

"TRENTON (AP) -- Seven troopers who were suspended after a woman claimed she had been raped at one of their homes will not be charged with a crime, a prosecutor said on Thursday."

I wonder whether any of these cops are related to Hoboken's Lt. Andriani, who was mysteriously exonerated by Hudson County Prosecutor Ed de Fazio? Rumors indicate that politicians made calls to the Hudson Prosecutor (Senator Bob?) offering a judgeship "down the line" if Mr. de Fazio "plays ball" now. Any truth to these rumors, Ed? How curious that images were blocked last night from several essays at Critique, after posting this essay critical of New Jersey's power structure?

"Stephanie Kurowsky, a spokeswoman for the Middlesex County prosecutor, said that the case had been closed, but would not comment further."

What happens to a victim of rape and torture who witnesses this farce? This young woman must live for the rest of her life with trauma -- trauma which never leaves a person -- knowing that those responsible are laughing at her attempts to achieve even a semblance of justice.

The proceedings against these state troopers in New Jersey were deliberately delayed, allegedly, by incautious remarks by a former prosecutor, who almost seemed to "wish" to get rid of the matter. Intimidated?

"Lawyers for the troopers" -- most of whom are politically active -- " said that the system had worked and that their clients had been cleared."

No, the troopers just weren't prosecuted in the most politically corrupt and mafia-saturated jurisdiction in the country. What's the rape of one more woman set against politically-connected cops? Nothing. Who cares about rape victims, male or female? New Jersey's Supreme Court sure doesn't give a shit.

"But it was not clear when and if the troopers, who have been suspended with pay for more than seven months, [nice!] will return to the state police."

Lawyers and other cops are afraid to speak out. I'm not! KKK, organized crime, "Lords of Discipline" -- all have been alleged to flourish in New Jersey's State Police, which was taken over by the feds not so long ago because of allegations of racial profiling, cruelty, generalized racism on the Turnpike and Parkway. Numerous incidents of abuse on N.J. highways by cops have been ignored for years by state authorities, like Stuart Rabner and Anne Milgram. Now rape by our boys in blue is being tolerated. This would not happen in New York.

"In December, a woman told the authorities that she had been raped by a group of troopers she had met at a Trenton nightclub. She claimed this occurred at Ewing Township home of one of the troopers."

I believe her.

"No formal charges were ever filed as investigators -- first from the Mercer County prosecutor's office, then from Middlesex County -- looked into the account."

"The woman's lawyer, Nat Dershowitz" -- I've met Nat Dershowitz, who spoke at my law school, I also met his famous brother Alan Dershowitz, who was kind enough to sign a copy of one of his books for me -- "said his client believed there was enough evidence to go ahead with charges against all the troopers."

Lawyers know the old saying: "They can indict a ham sandwich." In New Jersey, the ham sandwich just needs to know a politician and nothing happens. Bring a little cash for the assignment judge. (See "Maurice J. Gallipoli and Conduct Unbecoming to the Judiciary in New Jersey" and "Jaynee La Vecchia and Conduct Unbecoming to the Judiciary in New Jersey.")

"... 'The victim is extremely upset that the D.A.'s office [there's no D.A. in New Jersey, Nat!] is not going to present the case to the grand jury and is not going to prosecute the matter,' Mr. Dershowitz said. 'She feels she has been left without any justice.' ..."

Me too. Where are those reports, Terry? What's Diana up to with the "ladies"?

"... there had been delays in the investigation and ... his client had not been treated fairly. He also said it appeared that the case had been closed administratively, NOT with a grand jury's deciding that there was NOT evidence to prosecute." [Sic.]

Double negative? Is this an isolated incident of indifference to rape allegations in New Jersey or in the American legal system? Hardly. Such tragedies have been known to occur elsewhere, but only in New Jersey are the culprits police officers or corrupt officials, members of the bar and judiciary.

"Clueless cops botched a probe into a vicious gang rape at a suburban college after they were conned into believing that 19 year-old victim Megan Wright likely agreed to have sex, says a shocking lawsuit filed by the coed's mother. The young woman, distraught over the investigation and the fact that no one was brought to justice, later killed herself." (emphasis added)

What's the big deal? "Adjust," right Terry? 'Dem Guys, Geez ...
